'Curious Citizens' Science Symposium

The House of Science has a vision to raise scientific literacy in the local community. Our biennial symposium is a chance for the whole community to learn and network together.

This year we focus on citizen science: community-driven projects that engage people of all ages and abilities. We have a great line-up of prominent New Zealand scientists who will inspire delegates in keynote addresses, seminars and hands-on interactive activities.

Featuring 'Bug Man' Ruud Kleinpaste, oceanographer Steve Hathaway, award-winning science communicator Siouxsie Wiles and many others.

Date: Friday 10 November.

Time: 9am–5pm.

Cost: $90 before 1 October; $110 full price; $45 tertiary students.
