Paula Ormsby explores biculturalism in early childhood education through a uniquely Maori lens, offering a range of implementation and establishing a basic framework for integrating biculturalism into centres, enhancing practices-tikanga, defining the concepts of tapu, noa, tika, pono with other ideaologies; in essence providing an overview of biculturalism and increased understanding of Te Ao Māori with teachers recognising how to create respectful Centre environments.
