This workshop aims to move the conversation about creating educationally powerful connections with parents, whanau and communities to the next level. To do that, school leaders and teachers need to understand the link between what they currently do and the intended or unintended consequences of their actions. The key principles from the NZ Curriculum (2007) of coherence, cultural diversity, inclusion and community engagement.
