The Ministry of Education is calling for Requests for Proposals (RFP) from those who are well placed to provide education and/or digital technologies hangarau matihiko expertise and who are keen to develop teaching and learning approaches for young people to learn more about digital technologies and hangarau matihiko.
It follows the recent announcement by Education Minister Hekia Parata that digital technologies and hangarau matihiko would be recognised and strengthened in The New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa from 2018.
The RFP, which closes on 31 August 2016, is part of the consultation process to design the new curriculum content before 2018. The RFP documents can be found on the Government Electronic Tender Service(external link)
