Māori excellence and passion was at the heart of the 2022 Ngarimu VC and 28th (Māori) Battalion Memorial Scholarships award ceremony
We know you have great aspirations for your students. What if you could offer them an opportunity to travel and get experiences which would further inspire their learning?
Or perhaps you’re looking to enhance your teaching skills and there’s a world-class conference coming up that might normally be out of reach?
Air New Zealand’s new AirpointsTM for Schools programme assists selected New Zealand schools with their travel ambitions. The programme allows Airpoints members to donate Airpoints DollarsTM to participating New Zealand schools to help them get to where they need to go.
Applications are open to all New Zealand primary, intermediate and secondary schools and kura. To be considered, schools are invited to tell Air New Zealand how domestic or international flights would help them to achieve their goals. The schools selected to take part in the Airpoints for Schools programme will be eligible to receive Airpoints DollarsTM donations up to a total value of 10,000 Airpoints DollarsTM each.
The selected schools will have a year to put their Airpoints Dollars to good use. Any government and airport taxes associated with international airfares will be paid for by Air New Zealand as a donation to the participating schools.
For more information on the programme please visit www.airnewzealand.co.nz/airpoints-for-schools(external link) or apply now at www.airnewzealand.co.nz/sponsorship(external link)
Applications to participate in the programme are open now through to Monday 29 February 2016.
