Get Ready Week (10–16 October) is all about making sure Kiwis are prepared for emergencies – whether they are at work, at home or at school.
Support packages for the high expectations principle and inclusion principle are now available on New Zealand Curriculum Online. Each package has research, resources, tools, and stories to help guide curriculum planning and teaching practice at your school.

This blog post examines how the principle of high expectations can be brought to life in the classroom. It presents four practical strategies that teachers can apply to unleash the potential of all students.
This year, Te Wiki o te Reo Māori takes place between 27 July – 2 August.
The theme is Ngā Mātua / Whāngaihia te reo Māori ki ngā Mātua –
To support parents to whāngai the language to their tamariki.
